What does Glauben Amour mean? Where did it come from?

Glauben Amour means to believe or have faith in love. It comes from Germanic and French roots, which encompass our entire brand, as our CEO, Kyla Hessler, is of German, French, and Jamaican descent.

Are your products 100% natural? What about cruelty, paraben, and phthalate-free?

Yes, all products sold at Glauben Amour Skincare are 100% natural and made with love. We derive all ingredients directly from the Earth or use ingredients derived from the Earth. Moreover, we do not test on animals, and all of our product testing is done on willing human participants (i.e., our loving family and friends). We also pride ourselves on being paraben and phthalate-free.

Can GA soap bars be used all over your body?

Yes, GA bars can be used on the entire body. If a bar is created for a particular body part, we will specify this information.

Can GA soap bars cause dryness or irritation?

Due to the nature of how soap is created, overuse of the bars can cause dryness or irritation, depending on skin sensitivity. Anytime you add a new product to your skincare regimen, spot testing is recommended, especially for sensitive skin. We recommend purchasing body butter to combat any skin dryness you may feel.

Do you offer refunds and/or exchanges?

Refunds can be done within 5 days of receiving the product. It must be in its original packaging, unused, and you must provide proof of purchase. Please visit our Returns/Refunds page for more information about our policy.

Will I receive a tracking number?

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for your tracking number to be updated by USPS.

What happens if my order is returned to the sender?

If your order is returned to the sender, you will be refunded (minus the shipping cost). Glauben Amour is not responsible for any shipment issues caused by UPS or USPS.

Can I cancel my order once it is placed?

Once you place your order, you have up to 12 hours to notify us in writing at glaubenamour@gmail.com to cancel your order. If we do not receive the email within this time frame, you cannot cancel the order. No exceptions!

What if I input the wrong address?

Unfortunately, your order will be refunded.

How long is shipping?

All orders are shipped within 2-5 business days, and regular business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

What holidays does Glauben Amour observe?

We observe the following holidays: New Year's Day, MLK Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Loving Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

How come you don’t sell X, Y, or Z product anymore?

Glauben Amour is constantly developing new products, and for that reason, we may discontinue certain products. Our GA Cutie Bar theme changes monthly, so these bars are limited edition, and once they sell out, they are gone for good! Most of our products are made in limited batches.

How often do you restock?

We restock our website about every other month. Times vary on soap curing lengths.

How can I stay updated on upcoming restocks and sales?

What if my product arrives melted?

We do not use synthetic stabilizers, so our natural products are sensitive to temperature changes. During warm weather, products may soften or even melt as they sit in warm delivery trucks, mailboxes, or on front porches. The quality and healing properties of our products are not affected by melting; in fact, our products are melted in order to get the finished product. On hot or warm days, if you receive your jar and it has melted, just place the jar in your refrigerator for a few hours to allow it to harden.
